Role: Energy Bureau Manager

Location: Homebased

Salary: £Competitive DOE

Summary:

We ae looking for an Energy Bureau Manager to join a leading energy consultancy company. As the Energy Bureau Manager, you be responsible for managing the bill validation and reporting team as well as providing account management to key clients. You will be managing a team of 9 and you will work within the Energy and Sustainability team to ensure that all bill validation and reporting is delivered to reporting timetable. The successful candidate will be someone who has experience of producing energy reports, client liaison and the ability to motivate a team. Key responsibilities:

  • Manage Bureau team of 9
  • Deliver client reporting is delivered to reporting timetable
  • Support team with complex queries relating to energy suppliers/data collectors and clients to resolve queries
  • Provide energy management, consumption and monitoring reports for customers.
  • Provide tenant recharges
  • Support sales team with proposals for new clients, produce proposals for renewals
  • Manage fee invoices and credit control

Skills and experience required:

  • Energy consultancy background - solid background within Energy Bureau management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven track record in managing multiple client projects/reporting
  • Ability to lead a team to deliver high level of customer service
  • Demonstrates a high degree of analytical skills
  • Handles and interprets figures and calculations with high accuracy and understanding
  • Advanced user of MS Excel
  • Line management experience - recruitment, training, appraisals and mentoring
  • Experienced user of MS outlook, word and power point

Desirable knowledge and experience:

  • Finance experience - raising fees, credit control, management of P&L for division
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to be proactive and prioritize effectively
  • Always look for continuous process improvements and efficiencies
  • 5 years minimum energy industry background (end user, consultancy or supplier experience)
  • Knowledge of Property Management
