Energy Centre Assistant

This is a newly created position. You will be working closely with the Operations Manager to support and assist them in daily duties, both out on site, and behind the scenes. This could be your chance to develop your career and learn the ins and outs of our Energy from Waste operations.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for general admin tasks such as Purchase Order raising.
• Managing the training matrix including organisation of training, and Kronos timecard sign off.
• Assist and work with others on key development and improvement projects.
• Be responsible for coordinating and managing internal processes such as lessons learnt.
• Undertake both site and task safety audits with Energy Centre Ops team.
• Assist and coordinate on health and safety reporting and incident close out.
• Attend meetings and be the main point of contact for the department when the Operations Manager is not on site.
• Energy Centre Ops Share point champion.
• Assist with Energy Centre Ops risk management and review.
• Assist on updating/creating operational procedures.
• Assist, and on occasion, lead plant round audits and drive completion.
• Point of contact for internal teams including Finance and IT.
• Assist with the management of Energy Centre Ops contractors.
• Analyse Energy Centre Ops data, to provide trends and reports where required.

Requirements

• 1-2 years working experience.
• Reviewing risk assessments and method statements for work carried out onsite.

• Experience working on Microsoft systems and programs.
• Engineering degree, or similar university qualification.
• Experience working in an Energy From Waste plant or similar environment is desirable.
