Exciting Opportunity: Metering Administrator in Leeds (6-Month FTC)

About the role

The Metering Administrator will play an active role in the Metering Teams day to day processes and project driven work. They will manage operational processes including RGMA flow management and maintenance of metering assets, whilst also working hard towards industry targets surrounding the SMART & AMR Installation Programme and other Engie Initiatives.

ENGIE are recruiting for a Metering Administrator in Leeds. This is a 6 Month fixed term contract, working full time Monday to Friday. ?On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the Gas & Elec Emergency Process in line with industry requirements and liaising with Customers and 3rd parties where required
  • Administrative support for Gas siteworks; new connections, relocations, upgrades/downgrade, disconnections etc
  • Investigation of contentious meter removals in order to remove from Engie supply and reduce costs
  • Raising, tracking and resolution of meter and AMR faults across both Gas and Elec portfolios
  • Identifying inherited Smart meters and ensuring gain process is initiated to allow the meter to operate in SMART mode
  • Supporting the roll-out of Smart and Advanced meters to comply with Supply Licence Conditions and the commercial needs of the business
  • Liaising with 3rd Parties on deployment for SMART/AMR Rollouts and providing reporting on progress
  • Responding effectively to and helping resolve queries in relation to Smart and Advanced meters and associated activities
  • Processing of RGMA Flows within SLA, ensuring accuracy and efficiency is maintained

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in a logistical, service provider administration/analyst role
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the Energy sector, desirable
  • Preferable experience of a back office role
  • GCSE Maths & English Grade C (or equivalent)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workloads, adhering to deadlines
  • Practical approach to problem solving with a 'right first time’ motive
