Exciting Opportunity: Senior Meter Asset Administrator (12-Month FTC) in Leeds

About the role

The Meter Asset Management Senior Administrator will play an integral role within the Meter Asset Management Team, focusing on work allocation, escalations, reporting and any project driven work. They will continue to support the team in carrying out operational processes whilst ensuring training is provided where needed and support other members of the team with both internal and external escalations.

They will work closely with the Team Manager to provide reporting on areas not captured within MI and ensure the team are on track to hit year end targets and industry SLAs.

 

ENGIE are recruiting for aSenior Meter Asset Administratorbased in Leeds. This is a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract role, working full time Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.
 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with our designated 3rd Parties on deployment for SMART/AMR Rollouts by attending operational calls to escalate any issues
  • Supporting the team and our frontline customer service to resolve queries in relation to Smart and Advanced meters
  • Support the team with day to day processes ensuring we are adhering to any SLAs
  • Playing a key role in the roll-out of Smart and Advanced meters, ensuring we comply with Supply Licence Conditions and the commercial needs of the business
  • Monitoring GSOS (Guaranteed Standards of Service) breaches and payments, completing quarterly reports for Ofgem on payments made within SLA
  • Ensure the Gas & Elec Emergency Process is followed by the team and provide regular retraining sessions
  • Assist the Team Manager with work allocation according to team responsibilities and level of experience, and to provide technical assistance to others ensuring that customer queries are resolved within service levels and performance targets are met
  • First point of escalation within the team for queries both internal and external then managing these through to resolution

 

Key Requirements

  • Experience within a similar role within the Energy sector, desirable
  • General understanding of the Smart Metering Programme and the functionality of Smart and AMR Meters
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Microsoft Office Proficient (Previous Excel based experience)
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workloads, adhering to deadlines
  • Practical approach to problem solving with a ‘right first time’ motive
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate others
