Energy Networks Consultant (IT Support)

Harvey Nash is now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Energy Networks Consultant, a technical support role (IT) where you will be configuring and troubleshooting a key application for an energy client, used for transmitting electricity.

• 6 Month contract – should extend.
• Inside of IR35 / Umbrella
• Daily rate of £450 - £500 a day
• Onsite work required in Perth, Scotland – especially for training and onboarding at the start of the contract, once onboarded a more remote work schedule will be feasible.
• Training provided.
• Candidates must have energy or utilities industry experience. T

The Role

Our client has implemented Power-On Advantage to manage a High-Voltage Network, replacing its legacy Outage Management System for managing faults. You will be working in tandem with a team from a 3rd party on configuration and defect tasks.

Candidates applying must have experience of:

• Oracle DBA type experience, writing SQL queries, creation of reports.
• Experience of Oracle Service Cloud
• Troubleshooting issues on Outage Management Systems and or Power on Advantage
• Windows Server Literate
• Experience of Oracle, Linux or similar
• Implementing the Power-On OMS module highly beneficial
• Experience of support OMS – an Outage Management System
