WHAT TO EXPECT
Engineering Transformation is responsible for driving the continuous improvement projects and creating value to ensure the precise execution of JLR’s on and off cycle products. We are integrated within the Business Excellence structure of the Engineering function to support robust delivery. Within the Tools and Methods environment, there is a responsibility to drive standardisation and best practice of our Agile Tools into the organisation whilst continuously inspecting and adapting them in a timely manner. This team plays a vital role supporting the roll-out and continual improvement of the Agile Philosophy. The successful individual in post will have a responsibility for ensuring that we continue to find efficiencies within the business to deliver the programme cycles to agreed Cost, Quality and Time targets. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Foster Agile working practices to ensure the delivery and achievement of planned outcomes to support delivery of the Engineering key results.
- Lead delivery of the standardised operating model for Product Delivery in our Agile Toolset.
- Drive and deploy continuous improvement into our ways of working delivering iterations of value in a timely manner.
- Manage obstacles for the process related issues raised across the Enterprise.
- Lead the teams to deliver the Engineering Chapter methods and practices into the Agile Handbook and other enterprise wide learning materials
- Leading and managing communications with stakeholders at all levels
- Lead and drive development of Agile Metrics and KPIs for all levels within the product map
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.
