Are you an experienced communications or EDI professional looking for a fresh opportunity ? if so Ashley Kate are pleased to be working with their Financial Services client on a permanent Engagement and Communications Officer role. You will be on site at the head office in Dudley for 3 days a week, Monday being a non negotiable the other 2 days can be flexible.
This role is key as part of the Employee Experience team in working alongside both the branch network and corporate head office team in rolling out communications around the business strategy and feeding back to the Executive team on key employee feedback. It is essential you have proven experience of communications , with a strong skills in visual, audio and written content. You will have experience working in a team who are focussed on improving the working environment for employees, delivering diversity and inclusion initiatives and creating engaging communications solutions. You will have experience delivering written communications as well as creating video, imagery and intranet/internet content.
This role is not a marketing role although you will link in with Marketing alongside other key teams. If you have a passion around EDI and linking this to the wider business focus then this would be ideal.
You will be responsible for implementing the communication plan, aligning to the wider business strategy in a meaningful and inclusive manner. Manage the communications platform, utilising all media platforms to communicate messages to employees and also customers. You will need to champion Employee Engagement and develop and implement bold initiatives and methods to continually improve the employee journey.
Working closely with the Marketing Team, you will be organising and encouraging teams to support the local communities around our offices through volunteering, fund raising and supporting local initiatives. You will manage and implement an engagement calendar to ensure all activities enable our people to feel a sense of belonging.
You must be comfortable with presenting to Senior Leadership teams and provide monthly MI for distribution in Committees and team meetings along with meeting people in the business so that you can enable an inclusive culture within our Society. Ensuring policies and practices are underpinned by fairness, inclusivity, and equality for all.
