Marketing And Communications Officer

The RoleNewcastle University is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Marketing and Communications Officer to join its Advancement team on a fixed term basis until March 2025. The post is based within the Advancement Office which makes a powerful contribution to the University's mission through alumni and supporter engagement and inspirational philanthropy. The Marketing and Communications Officer will be responsible for planning, developing and integrating innovative and engaging content, across multiple channels, to the University's alumni and supporter audiences. You will be a graduate or equivalent with excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills. You will be a strong team player, with experience in content planning and integrating messages across a range of communication channels and audiences. You will develop and deliver engaging Marketing and Communications campaigns across a variety of channels to grow and enhance engagement with our alumni and supporter audiences. The post is based within the Advancement Office which is the home of alumni relations and philanthropy at Newcastle University. The office plays a vital role in building and sustaining relationships with the University's 270,000 alumni, supporters and stakeholders across the globe, and makes a powerful contribution to the University's mission through alumni engagement and inspirational giving.
