Engineering Degree qualification Or Engineering based NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) with minimum 1 year's relevant experience working within an engineering environmentOr Currently holds Eng Tech grade within a relevant professional institutionApplication of engineering principlesExcellent communications skills with an ability to deal with the general public, contractors, suppliers, and other external bodiesProven ability to work independently as well as part of a team and contribute effectively in a multi-functional environmentStrong IT skills, including the use of Microsoft packagesFull valid EU / UK driving licence , Experience and knowledge of working on utilities infrastructureWorking towards IEng/CEng grade with a relevant professional institutionExperience of working on operational and asset condition / integrity focused activities associated with gas networks or similarKnowledge of applicable legislation, regulations and relevant gas industry technical standardsUnderstanding of gas and other utility infrastructure and installation methodsPlanning and overseeing site worksProject and budget management
