SalaryI am currently looking for mechanically biased engineers who are seeking to become Engineer Surveyors with a successful, market leading company who are now expending into new areas of the UK.
This is a permanent role in the Fife & Dundee area where the successful Engineer Surveyor will be visiting customer sites to complete inspections, examinations and surveys on engineering equipment including but not limited to cranes, lifting equipment and pressurised systems. In return you will earn an attractive salary and benefit from ongoing training and development. There might be some aspect of UK travel, but this typically equates to only two overnight stays per month.
Candidates with a military engineering background would be of particular interest i.e. those who have previously served in the Royal Navy, British Army or Royal Air Force.
Engineer Surveyor requirements:
- A demonstrable background in mechanical engineering (minimum NVQ Level 2).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to learn new engineering solutions and disciplines.
- Knowledge in cranes or lifting equipment would be beneficial.
- Eye for detail.
- Strong communicator as this is a customer facing role.
