About the role

Placing orders promptly and accurately is vital work and ensures that we can deliver a first-class service to our staff and volunteers across the business and out at the coast. You will be supporting other teams to achieve their goals whilst ensuring our suppliers are paid on time.

The role deals with a wide variety of tasks from placing orders for a wide range of items, processing invoices for payment, answering queries and a range of other tasks to support the wider Procurement team. It is also a great opportunity to maximise your organisational, planning and prioritising skills as this role requires a high volume and variety of activity on a daily basis.

Working as part of a team that is flexible, and can juggle conflicting priorities, IT literacy and attention to detail are key requirements of the role as are the ability to work to deadlines and have a strong customer focus.

About you

The right candidate will have experience of working in a busy office environment, show good skills in using Microsoft Office, have excellent interpersonal skills and preferably have knowledge and experience of both SharePoint and AX.
