Role: Engineering Manager

Location: Luton

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000

Shifts: Days (Monday to Friday)

Benefits: Bonus Scheme + Healthcare + 8% Pension + Holiday + Car Allowance

The Business:

ATA are currently representing a well regarded Manufacturing business who are seeking to add a Engineering Manager to their Engineering department to aid in the continuous growth that they have been experiencing over the last 5 years. With this increase in growth due to their increasing order book, they have also had an increase in the number of machines and maintenance team – this team now needs a experienced Engineering Manager to guide them and help upskill them with training and development.

The Role:

The role of Engineering Manager will include:

• Managing a team of 12 Engineers split across different shifts
• Helping with the development and training of the Engineering team
• Managing Stores, Training and CAPEX Budgets
• Reporting directly into the Site Manager
• Liaising with Production and Operations in regards to Machine Availability and Maintenance Scheduling
• Managing the CMMS system
• Taking the lead on any projects that are ongoing and bringing ideas for projects to the senior management team
• Being the Lead Engineer on site for any major breakdowns that occur

The Candidate:

The Right candidate for the role of Engineering Manager will have/be

• A Recognised Engineering qualification
• Experience managing Engineering teams
• Have experience Managing Budgets
• Have experience Managing a CMMS system
• Computer Literate
• Personable – being able to build relationships with all key stakeholders within the business as well as the Engineering team
