Engineering Manager - Fpso - (7 Month Ftc)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Manager for our SeaRose project team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our organisation's efforts to deliver the FPSO assignment on time and budget while meeting industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

• Assisting the Engineering Manager in overseeing the engineering team's daily activities.
• Providing guidance, mentoring, and technical support to engineering staff.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation and project execution.

Engineering Support:

• Assisting in the development and implementation of maintenance and repair strategies for the FPSO project.
• Reviewing technical specifications and design documents to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to the project.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensuring that all engineering activities comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Participating in safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship within the engineering team.

Project Management:

• Supporting the Engineering Manager in the planning, execution, and monitoring of the SeaRose engineering projects
• Coordinating with external vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Budget Management:

• Assisting in the preparation and management of the engineering department's budget.
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resource allocation.

Reporting:

• Preparing and delivering regular progress reports, technical updates, and performance metrics to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
