An exciting and rare opportunity to join a global manufacturing company in a fascinating and challenging working environment.
Working at their global R & D facility you will lead a team responsible for equipment installations, maintenance, and facilities management.
The positions is Mon-Fri, offers flexible start and end times plus a substantial bonus on top of the basic. However the key appeal is the working environment where genuinely no 2 days will be alike and you will need to find innovative solutions to new situations.
The role will focus on managing staff (6 maintenance engineers), budgets, strategy and projects with a goal to ensuring a safe, reliable and efficient maintenance and installation function within the site.
The client is looking for someone with excellent line management skills who can inspire staff through a positive leader ship style.
The Role
- Full time permanent position at the R & D centre of a global manufacturer
- Managing a team of six Maintenance staff
- Focus on maintenance, installation and facilities management functions.
- Project Management duties
The Person
- Academic and working background in Engineering /Manufacturing
- Experience of managing a team and budgets
- Working use of tools such as HAZOP,5S, TPM.
- Experience of managing improvement projects
