H&B is committed to empowering its engineering teams with cutting-edge tools and platforms. As part of our continuous efforts to enhance efficiency and innovation, we are establishing a new squad within the Cloud Platform Team dedicated to building developer enabling tools. This squad will play a pivotal role in supporting our engineering teams by developing our Observability Platform, improving our CI/CD architecture, and building a Developer Portal

Join us in our mission to revolutionise the health and wellness industry through technology. As the Engineering Manager of the DevEx Squad, you will spearhead the design and implementation of cutting-edge solutions that empower our engineering teams and drive operational excellence.

This role requires a hands-on technical leader with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation. As a seasoned Engineering Manager, you must have a strong foundation in software development, including proficiency in coding and building tools. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in guiding the squad in designing and implementing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.

If you possess a background in platform engineering, software development, or related fields, and are enthusiastic about fostering collaboration, mentoring others, and building world-class developer tools, this role could be the perfect fit for you.

Goals and Outcomes

As part of the DevEx Squad, your primary goals will include:

  • Improving Developer Productivity: Lead initiatives to identify and address bottlenecks in the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC), with the aim of streamlining workflows and increasing efficiency.
  • Shortening Feedback Loops: Implement strategies to accelerate the feedback cycle for developers, enabling rapid iteration and continuous improvement.
  • Removing Friction: Identify pain points and obstacles in the development pipeline and work proactively to eliminate them, fostering a seamless and frictionless experience for engineering teams.
  • Enhancing Developer Experience: Continuously gather feedback from developers and stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences and incorporate this feedback into the design and implementation of developer tools.
  • Promoting Automation and Self-Service: Champion automation initiatives and self-service capabilities to empower engineering teams to provision resources, deploy applications, and troubleshoot issues independently

What's In It For You?

Empowerment and Growth: We are committed to fostering your professional development and providing you with access to resources and opportunities to advance your career.

Diversity at the Core: We celebrate diversity and value diverse perspectives, ensuring an inclusive and innovative work environment where you can thrive.

Impactful Projects: Lead high-impact initiatives that redefine our industry and positively impact the lives of millions.

Flexible Work Arrangements: Enjoy flexibility in your work schedule, whether you prefer remote work or collaboration in our office locations.

Supportive Environment: Join a supportive and collaborative team where your ideas are valued, and your voice is heard
