Engineering Manager

As a Software Engineering Manager you'll play a pivotal role in directing and nurturing software engineering teams. Your core responsibilities will revolve around ensuring the success of software projects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and mentoring and empowering the engineers to reach new heights.

What you will be doing:

• You will be responsible for mentoring and motivating a talented team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Create growth opportunities and guide your team to excellence.

• You will champion the successful execution of software projects, meeting deadlines and upholding quality benchmarks. You will keep a watchful eye on project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure efficient resource allocation.

• You will collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute software engineering strategies that align with the company's objectives. Drive process enhancements and optimisation to elevate project delivery efficiency.

• As the Engineering Manager you will manage a high performing teams, made up of Principal Engineers, Technical Leads and Software Engineers of all levels. You will be responsible for leading and developing each individual in order to ensure continuous improvement

You will have:

• Demonstrated experience in people leadership and line managing software engineering teams.

• Proven track record of managing and delivering large scale projects on time and to a high standard.

• Experience working in agile methodologies.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
