Working for a global manufacturer of specialist products manufactured for the building services industry, this is a great opportunity to join the site Engineering team supporting the maintenance planning schedule.
Your new role
You will be responsible for producing a maintenance plan for a 12-month timeframe and issuing weekly maintenance plans to the engineering maintenance teams, you will lead formal weekly engineering planning meetings, ensuring all associated resource and spare parts are in place to support maintenance completion. You will track compliance against the plan, always looking for opportunities to improve the planning process to make it more efficient and add value.
You will issue weekly KPI 's to show ongoing performance and reliability improvement, working closely with the site production team to ensure the weekly plan is achievable and any required downtime is captured as part of the weekly plan. You will capture any external contractor works into the plan and ensure contractors are issued permits and ensure safe and controlled activities are completed on-site and to the quality of engineering standards. You will manage regular stock checks, ensuring all stock is listed on the CMMS system with supplier and price, all critical spares are identified.
What you 'll need to succeed
You will have experience gained in an Engineering/Technical environment, have strong organisational skills, be a competent user of CMMS (ideally SAP) and implementation of planned maintenance, strong IT skills including word, excel and powerpoint.
