Engineering Project Manager - 0841 - £27.00/hr PAYE

Do you have project management experience, and are you seeking a new contract role in Cranfield? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit an Engineering Project Manager, and the role comes with a contract rate of £27 per hour PAYE. Inside IR35.  This is a 12-month contract and comes with hybrid working 3 days a week onsite and 2 days at home.

As an Engineering Project Manager, you will maintain an understanding and visibility of the vehicle development status against its performance metrics. You'll communicate with line management and the Assistant Chief Vehicle Engineer accordingly, taking recovery actions where necessary. 

To give you an idea of how this Engineering Project Management role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:

• Lead the preparation for Milestone Meetings, working proactively and cross-functionally with all stakeholders to ensure a good understanding of the development status
• Coordinate cross-functional & cross-cultural global Alliance activities
• Use your analytical skills alongside technical knowledge to prepare, develop, and review engineering proposals and schedules
• Promote, support, and liaise with R&D engineering sections to share project information, progress engineering concern resolution, facilitate cross-functional problem solving, and manage project staffing against budgets
