As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be supporting and nurturing the next generation of Engineers…
Your support will allow each student to develop their core technical skills and overall knowledge.
This college is based in Sunderland and is passionate about providing each student with not only the qualifications they need but also the behaviour required to be leaders within this sector.
Your day-to-day will include supporting the teacher within the lessons ensuring students are inspired, confident and understand what's being taught. You'll also do personalised 1:1 sessions to ensure each student can thrive and have a fantastic college experience. Due to the level of support you'll be giving and the range of Engineering related courses this college offers you'll need to be knowledgeable in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, as well as have an Engineering qualification and/or experience in this field.
Through this role, you'll have lots of opportunities to learn and grow yourself. We are looking for a graduate who is genuinely passionate about learning new things and helping others as this college is keen to give support to graduates to ensure they can succeed within this role.

- £23,485.80 (Pro-Rata)
What We Are Looking For:
- Hold a completed bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely similar subject and/or experience within Engineering (preferably both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering)
- A confident communicator who's able to build fantastic relationships with others
- An attentive individual who's passionate about helping others succeed
- Able to work well in a team and use initiative
- Motivated to learn new things and develop your skills
- Committed to creating an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment
