£525 - £550 per week (Salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

A larger than average Primary School situated in Newcastle are looking to employ a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant from September 2024. This role is based at a positive and supportive school with excellent public transport routes. The successful applicant will be comfortable teaching across a range of classes, from EYFS-KS2 and a good understand of Read, Write, Inc Phonics would be beneficial. This is a long-term role, likely to extend for the full academic year.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have:

• A Level 4 Qualification or above in Education.
• Experience of teaching within EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• A good understanding of Read, Write, Inc Phonics.
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning when needed.
