The role
One of our lovely two form entry, Dudley based primary schools are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
Your role will consist of supporting some students with SEND conducting some small group work for part of your day, as well as covering some PPA and supporting the class teacher where needed.
ABC Teachers work with a number of different Primary Schools in the Dudley and Sandwell areas, so the vacancies we currently have are diverse, and therefore we can be flexible with your working days/ hours. The current vacancies we have are general day to day cover as well as longer term positions for Teachers and Support staff. However more are coming available every day.
Requirements
To be considered for the Primary Teaching Assistant position, you will:
Have a DBS that is registered on the update service or be able to arrange one.
Be able to secure references to cover the last two years.
Have at least 2 weeks of relevant, school based work.
A relevant HLTA qualification
Be a welcoming influence on the classroom and individual’s learning. You will also need to give feedback to the class teacher on this learning.
Be able to form meaningful working relationships with both staff and students.
Pay
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is a HLTA qualification
