Duties:
- Execute day-to-day operations within the Configuration and Service Department, following established procedures.
- Collaborate as part of the business team to support budgetary forecasting aligned with company objectives.
- Uphold and enhance the quality of work produced, ensuring it meets company standards.
- Ensure tools and equipment necessary for the department's functions are available, properly maintained, and calibrated.
- Follow and update work instructions to accurately reflect Configuration and Service work practices.
- Provide technical support to customer services and subcontractors.
- Assist the Goods Inward department with product inspection and testing when needed.
- Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and departments, demonstrating respect and cooperation as a member of the team.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts by adhering to Lean principles.
- Adhere to ISO9001:2000 procedures consistently.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required.
Knowledge and Skills Required for Effective Performance:
- Proficient general communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
- BTEC or City & Guilds qualified
