Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship Programme
You will be working towards a Level 3 Advanced Engineering Technician qualification, whilst developing your skills and knowledge with on-the-job training and experiences. You will have the opportunity to spend 20% of your week learning with an external training provider working towards an externally recognised qualification. The following 80% of your time will be based at Bentley’s headquarters in Crewe, you’ll work alongside industry-leading experts gaining practical knowledge of what you are studying, take part in corporate social responsibility initiatives and grow your networks, equipping you with personal and professional training and development to accelerate your career.

Body Problem Solving
Body Problem Solving supports launches of new models to ensure that Bentley can delivers best in class models repeatedly in a smooth and controlled manor. The successful candidate will gain insight into the thinking that underpins our strategy, an understanding of how we test commercial viability and drive operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with the Body Problem Solving Team and with the Manufacturing organisation to meet departmental goals
- Develop skills and knowledge in hands on Body amendment techniques
- Contribute to the Early Careers team in community outreach programmes
Production Manufacturing
Our Manufacturing Production Apprenticeships are an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of the Luxury Vehicle Manufacturing Sector. You will be working with industry experts to gain an understanding of lean manufacturing, process development, quality testing, environmental aspects and ensuring that we continue to build our electrical skills to successfully produce our Hybrid and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV). Within Production Manufacturing we have three exciting and innovative areas available for our successful apprentices: Continental, Bentayga and Final 2. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Learn how to use relevant tools, programmes and systems to electrically configure a vehicle
- Use diagnostics software to find the solutions to electrical faults on vehicle systems
- Deliver a high quality standard of electric repair, including data tracking and analysis to support informed decision making
- Work with High Voltage vehicle systems including start up and shut down procedures
About you
It would be advantageous to have good communication and problem solving skills, as well as an interest in ‘hands on’ working and acquiring electrical skills. The successful candidate will:
