Position Overview:
We are delighted to announce a part-time opportunity for an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teacher to join our team at The Woolwich College. The position holds the potential to transition into a full-time role in the future. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, planning, and delivering effective English Language teaching, learning, and assessment strategies for EFL programmes, contributing significantly to the growth and success of our students.
Principal Duties:
Plan engaging lessons and activities tailored to meet students'; needs.
Conduct face-to-face learning sessions for individuals or classes.
Develop and administer tests and exercises, providing constructive feedback to students.
Organise social and cultural activities, including events and trips, to enhance the overall
learning experience.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate learner records.
Prepare students for IELTS and/or Cambridge Examinations.
Qualifications:
Demonstrable success in teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) at
various levels.
Preferably, hold a teaching qualification specific to ESOL.
Salary:
The remuneration for this position is pro-rota £30,000 per annum.
