Position Overview:
Situated in the bustling heart of Victoria, they are seeking an enthusiastic part time English Lecturer to join their esteemed faculty. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective instruction in English courses to undergraduate students, contributing to the academic growth and success of their diverse student body.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans and instructional materials for English courses.
- Conduct lively lectures, facilitate stimulating class discussions, and provide practical demonstrations to enhance student understanding and appreciation of English language and literature.
- Cultivate an inclusive and supportive learning environment that fosters student participation and academic achievement.
- Offer timely and constructive feedback on assignments, essays, and other assessments to facilitate student learning and development.
- Employ innovative teaching methodologies and technologies to enrich the learning experience and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure alignment of course content and assessments with program objectives and standards.
- Engage in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and curriculum enhancement initiatives as necessary.
Qualifications:
- QTS/QTLS/Level 5
- A relevant Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
- Previous teaching experience at the college or university level is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in English language, literature, and writing, with a strong foundation in critical analysis, literary theory, and composition.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.

Salary: £22.00-£27.00 per hour
