Salary: £450 - £470 weekly – term time only!
Job type: Full time role (Monday - Friday) for the remainder of the academic year
Starting date: ASAP 2024 - July 2024 - potential direct route to teacher trainer September 2024
The ideal candidate must:
Have an English related degree (2:2 or above)
Strong A Level subject background
Be passionate about working with students and making a difference in their lives.
Be enthusiastic, friendly and approachable
Be confident teaching and supporting students within the GCSE English curriculum
Have strong communication skills
Be reflective & creative within the classroom
Be able to build strong working relationships with children with various needs
Key responsibilities within the role include:
Planning intervention lessons
Lead both small groups and 1:1 outside the classroom to ensure students are getting the support they need
Prepare resources/materials for students to use
