We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity for an inspirational and dedicated English specialist to join our very talented and thriving team as our new Whole School Literacy Co-ordinator. 

You may be an ambitious, high flyer who is relatively new to the profession or someone who has been teaching for a few years but is ready for a new challenge. We offer excellent training opportunities, regardless of experience, and the chance to quickly progress within the Academy. 

The main responsibilities of this role will include:

•    To work with Heads of Faculties to ensure that literacy is embedded across the curriculum.
•    To provide targeted support and coaching for individual staff where literacy has been identified as an issue.
•    To provide training for staff on delivering literacy across the curriculum.
•    To work closely with the SEN department on improving levels of literacy across the school.
