About the role:
Supply Desk are working with a Secondary School based in Salisbury that are seeking a QTS English teacher to support students in Key Stage 3 and 4. The role will be teaching all elements of English with time allowed for planning and marking. The school are looking for someone with excellent subject knowledge in all areas, good classroom management and a really positive approach to teaching and building relationships. The role is suitable for an experienced English teacher seeking a long-term contract or an ECT for English that is seeking a role in a supportive department. The School will consider unqualified English teachers that come with relevant experience teaching in Secondary Schools. The role will be starting ASAP on a long term contract until July 2024 with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right person.

The school is based in Salisbury, Wiltshire, and is a mixed secondary school with around 800 students in total aged from 11 to 16 years. This is a successful Secondary school that celebrated excellent results in it's last GCSE's with 72 % of students achieving a level 4 and above for English. The school comes with an excellent reputation to work in and is led by an excellent senior leadership team.
