The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of English or Teacher of English to join our team. In this role, you will:

• Lead and manage the English department (Head of Department role)
• Develop and deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment
• Contribute to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) + SEND experience
• Experience teaching English to students with moderate learning difficulties
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to inclusive education

Additional Information:

• Class Size: Typically 13 students per group
• Teaching Hours: English is taught 4 times a week
• KS5 Curriculum: igcse English (Year 13)
