The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of English or Teacher of English to join our team. In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage the English department (Head of Department role)
- Develop and deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment
- Contribute to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) + SEND experience
- Experience teaching English to students with moderate learning difficulties
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to inclusive education

Additional Information:
- Class Size: Typically 13 students per group
- Teaching Hours: English is taught 4 times a week
- KS5 Curriculum: igcse English (Year 13)
