We are assisted by our health and residential colleagues to support young people during their time at the centre. This provides an exceptional opportunity for young people to make progress and to ensure they have a wealth of opportunities that can prevent re-offending. The schools offers a 50week curriculum, although teaching staff are covered by teachers pay and conditions the school terms are slightly amended to facilitate this.
We are seeking to appoint a lead teacher of English, with experience of teaching across the ability range to GCSE level. Our students respond well to innovative teaching and learning experiences as well as to calm, enthusiastic and charismatic staff.
