Somerset Education Alliance are looking for a EnglishTeacher for an exciting teaching opportunity in a secondary school within Bridgwater.

The Job Role

We are looking for a English techer to cover in a secondary school in Bridgwater, starting ASAP. This is a part time position on Fridays and is a temporary position.

English Teacher Responsibilities

- Delivering cover lessons with planning included

- Following safeguarding and school policies

- Marking work as needed

- Liaising with school staff

English Teacher Essentials

- QTS or ECT status (applications from other teaching backgrounds also welcome)
- A current DBS, or Update Service subscription (the agency can apply for this)
- A 3 year minimum reference history
- Up to date knowledge of the curriculum

- Reliability

- Excellent communication skills

- Located close to Bridgwater or able to commute
