Satis Education are recruiting! We are recruiting for a passionate and dedicated English Tutor, for our client school in Liverpool. The position is temporary and will commence ASAP up until the end of summer term 2024.
The academy is led by an inspiring Principal who is on mission to ensure that the Academy achieves high standards of teaching and learning. The Senior Leadership Team create a can-do culture and lead by example. Students are given access to an inclusive and exciting curriculum. Community is very important and community spirit is strong. Parents and carers are very much included and involved in ensuring the best possible outcomes for students.
Key responsibilities:
- Working with small group cohorts
- Creating lesson plans tailored to the student's learning style
- Assessing student progress, identifying areas for improvement and recording attainment levels using our internal reporting system
- Deliver engaging sessions to support a range of learning styles
- Drive measurable outcomes from each session to measure impact
- Work collaboratively with educational/care stakeholders ensuring student support.
- Working in accordance with the KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines.
To join our client’s English department, you will need;
- Relevant tutoring experience
- Proven track record of raising academic standards
- Qualification in English
- Experience in working 1:1 with mainstream or SEND students
