Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Sales territory: UK, France, Belgium, Holland
  • Define and execute territory plan / account plans (identify white space) for assigned named accounts and meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, managing and closing opportunities.
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline, assess sales, embrace process and move many opportunities through the funnel simultaneously.
  • Coordinate and lead company support teams through the sales cycle as needed for specific opportunities
  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products
  • Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecast through regular updates on scheduled calls and within CRM system
  • Be valued by client base as a trusted advisor. Develop trusted relationships and keep regular contact with key client stakeholders at senior management level. Expand company relationships across accounts of all sizes.
  • Practice effective communication with management, customers and supporting teams
  • Travel to customer locations in support of sales efforts

Experience, Competencies, Skills & Expectations

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of enterprise software experience (PE-backed firms a plus). You’ve worked with complex sales and are familiar with value analysis to advance deals. You can get to executive levels within your target account list and build solid relationships across many levels of organizations.
  • Domain Expert. You know and understand the broad IT landscape. You may even know some areas of Supply Chain or worked with clients in the process industries – Chemicals / Oil & Gas.
  • Accountable. Proven track record of delivering strong performance vs. assigned quota and other measures.
  • Achievement-Oriented. You love to compete and win and always strive to overachieve.
  • Curious. You do research to determine solution fit and alignment with target prospect initiatives and use discovery to qualify opportunities. You understand the key influencers within the client organization, can quickly identify key players and adapt approach as needed.
  • Travel expected to be 25-30%

Education and Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
