Job description

Job title: Enterprise ArchitectLocation: Various (Hybrid role with travel when required to London, Frimley, Preston)Salary: £85,000+ depending on experience What you will do:
  • Capture the as-is business, application and data architectures for the function
  • Define the future state business, application and data architectures for the function in line with the functional strategy and objectives
  • Define the IM&T roadmap for the function and support the rationalisation of applications within the portfolio
  • Provide IM&T subject matter expertise to the function and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to share domain knowledge and best practice, driving organisational capability development
  • Support the development of a single overarching Enterprise Architecture that aligns the business strategy & informs business transformation
  • Work with the other domain architects & the sector architects to ensure that the functional architecture fits within the overarching BAE Systems Enterprise Architecture
  • Support the development of common architecture artefacts, methodologies, toolsets and processes, e.g. capability models, governance process, EA toolsets
  • Your skills and experiences:Essential:
  • Significant experience of business architecture and supporting business transformation
  • Significant experience of IS systems design
  • Solid experience of technical leadership, e.g. Technical Authority
  • Proven experience in developing strategic systems architecture plans and roadmaps.
  • Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering/analysis.
  • Proven experience in design and development of Information systems.
  • Proven knowledge and experience of working within architecture frameworks e.g. TOGAF, MODAF, Zachman
  • IS/Engineering diploma/degree
