Job description

About the programme

We work with our clients to help them solve their most complex and pressing problems. We provide businesses with confidence by helping them to optimise how they manage risk, automate controls, or operate their Risk and Compliance functions. As a member of our team, you can build your knowledge of economic growth and how, at EY, we play a vital part within our ever-changing society. Plus, gain exposure to large projects, deliver tech-first solutions, and see yourself building a future with us.

What will you be doing?

  • Joining project teams immersed in client projects.
  • Supporting EY teams in project delivery.
  • Learning about the tools we use, developing your soft skills and being supported by your colleagues.

Programme duration

4 weeks

Are you eligible to apply?

If you’re in your penultimate year at university, or if you’re already in your final year but will be doing a one-year master’s degree, or taking a gap year, this internship is for you. We operate an open access policy, meaning we don’t screen out applications on your academic performance alone. You will, however, need to be working towards an honour’s degree in any subject, have a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths and three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent).

We welcome applications from all academic backgrounds and are looking for individuals who will succeed at EY in the desired role and future qualifications, therefore throughout our recruitment process your academic performance will be considered against your online assessment scores to determine your suitability for an EY role. We are also proud to partner with RARE recruitment, so that your application can be processed in the context of your socio-economic background.

EY recognises that it has clear obligations towards all its people and the community at large to ensure that partners, employees and job applicants are afforded equal opportunities to enter employment and progress within the firm. As an employer committed to establishing an inclusive environment free from unlawful discrimination, the firm promotes the fair treatment of staff members and job applicants regardless of their sex, gender identity, marital or civil partnership status, race, ethnic or national origin, disability, religion, sexual orientation, age or pregnancy/maternity status.
