Job description

What we’re looking for:

  • Do you have experience in caretaking services?
  • Do you have knowledge of Health and Safety (COSHH)?
  • Do you have experience in customer service?
  • Do you have knowledge of IT systems?

Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity a Caretaker on a Permanent basis at our Tower Hamlets site in Fish Island.

A bit about the role:

As a Environmental Caretaker you'll provide and be responsible for maintaining the internal and external areas of Peabody estates and providing a clean and safe environment for the residents, their guests, employees and other visitors.

Some of the key results for the role include:

  • To handle resident issues efficiently and effectively while maintaining Peabody Behaviours.

  • To be responsible for reporting any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the residents or the property.

  • Deliver Trust letters, circulars etc as appropriate to resident’s properties.

  • Report any estate defects, fly-tipping or anti-social behaviour to the appropriate authorities.

  • Check communal lighting/timers and reports blown bulbs as necessary, (including office light bulbs) and emergency testing done monthly.

Hours: 8.00AM - 4.30PM

This role will require a basic DBS.
