Exciting Opportunity: Admin Officer in Lisahally

Position Overview:

• Job Role: Executive officer x2
• Location: Newtownards
• Start: ASAP
• Pay: £13.81
• Working Pattern: Mon- Fri  9-5 (37 hours)
• Length: 52 weeks

Main Duties:

Executive Officer 2 will be a Work Coach, based in a Front Office in the local JBO, who will assist claimants to prepare for work, secure employment and maintain sustained employment. Work Coaches will work directly with UC claimants and use effective coaching techniques, conduct Work Focused interviews and engage with claimants online to assist claimants into work. In addition to face-to-face interviews, Work Coaches will use a range of channels with emphasis on the digital service to support claimants and their families to become more financially independent through work. Work Coaches motivate and challenge the claimant to ensure that all interactions are focused on work.

Essential Criteria: To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Excellent IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good communication skills.
• 5 GCSEs, and 2 A-levels including both Maths & English (or Level 2 equivalent).
• Basic Access NI Check.
