We are a busy, fun, friendly and family orientated riding school, just outside Newbury. There will be plenty of opportunities to progress and develop skills, both in riding, yard work and handling horses.
Daily jobs will include mucking out, turn in /out, tacking up and general daily care of our lovely well mannered horses.
Ideally you will have had some experience with horses. Catch, lead and tack up, muck out. You must have a can do attitude and high energy. This is a physical job and you are on your feet all day. A willingness to learn and develop is essential. Must be enthusiastic and committed to doing the job required first and foremost. Ability to work individually and with others.
Riding preferred but not essential but there will be plenty of riding is available on a wide range of horses for any ability. There is a chance to compete in, in house competitions and to go out off site in the lorry schooling / competing for the right individual.
NVQ and BHS qualifications available to work toward.
Single occupancy accommodation available. (Mobile home).
No dogs or pets. Livery for own horse available.
Weds through Sunday (5 days) Monday & Tues OFF
40 hour week: Weds - Fri 9am-6.30pm, Sat & Sun 7am-4.30pm
Training
Full Training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.
Qualifications required
GCSE Level 4/ Grade C in Maths and English or equivalent.

Skills required
