Weekend Forklift Technician

Our Client, an FMCG sector company, are looking to recruit a Forklift Technician on a permanent basis covering Saturday and Sunday shifts. They have a proven track record in developing talent and providing excellent career progression prospects.

Key responsibilities - Forklift Technician:

• electrical & mechanical experience working on either HGV, Bus, Plant, Forklift Trucks, Vehicle Recovery, Vehicle Technician, Platform lifts or Agricultural Machinery. .
• Practical experience of electrical mechanical engineering through any sector is also of interest as is your professional attitude to the working environment.

Skills & experience- Forklift Technician:

• Mechanical & Electrical engineering, hydraulics or pneumatics, diesel, petrol, or LPG powered engines.
• Experience of servicing Forklift trucks, cherry pickers, powered access equipment, VNA trucks, or similar

Hours & Shifts- Forklift Technician:

• Days Saturday and Sunday 12-hour shifts (paid for 24 hours) start times to be agreed as per successful candidates preference.

Benefits- Forklift Technician:

• Salary circa GBP30,000 (GBP20.63 p/hour Saturday rate and GBP27.50 p/hour Sunday rate)
• Annual Bonus GBP1,000 (GBP500 paid every 6 months)
• Permanent, no Agency
