Your responsibilities:
- Conducting research on a range of companies within the Telecoms and Media sectors;
- Attending company presentations, and researching company accounts and other sources;
- Financial modelling and valuation;
- Coming up with stock ideas, and writing research reports;
- Presenting stock recommendations both internally to our sales team, and externally to investors;
- Undertaking various support tasks associated with the research function, including updating databases.
Your profile:
- Minimum 2.1 or equivalent at degree level;
- 3-5 years relevant experience: in Equity Research; in a finance or strategy role within a Telecoms or Media company; or within a big four professional services firm, with exposure to Telecoms and Media companies;
- ACA / CIMA / CFA-Level qualification is an advantage;
- Analytical mind set. Enjoys deep-dive fundamental research;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Experience of company valuations and financial modelling.
