Erp Specialist

My client is seeking an ERP Specialist to join the Information Technology department. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and troubleshooting our ERP system (Infor Syteline), contributing significantly to the achievement of our business objectives.
Please note - this position is only open to EU/NATO nationals and does not offer visa sponsorship due to the nature of the business.
Location: Bath (on site 1-2 times a month)
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Salary - Negotiable depending on experience
Day to Day of the role:

• Collaborate with ERP users and departments across the business to support their needs.
• Manage the migration and/or implementation of ERP-related projects.
• Customize and configure Syteline modules to align with business requirements.
• Design and execute test plans and create supporting documentation for changes or implementations.
• Develop and deliver user training sessions.
• Continuously identify areas for improvement within the ERP system.
• Coordinate deployment with stakeholders and collect feedback for future enhancements.
• Implement system upgrades and potentially migrate to new ERP systems.
• Utilize version control software to track programming changes.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day issues within the ERP system and provide user support.
• Maintain the integrity and security of the Syteline environment.
• Perform additional duties as required by the company or Line Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Syteline ERP usage, administration, or development.
• Experience in a manufacturing and engineering environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of understanding of databases.
• Business analysis and technical skillset.
• Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) and report building.
• Familiarity with APS Planning or similar manufacturing planning systems.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS).
• Knowledge of Windows Server, SQL Server, Stored Procedures, and Queries.

Desirable:

• Some knowledge of Visual Basic (VB.NET & VBA), or the willingness to develop these skills.
