We have an exciting opportunity where you could be a part of our incredible team.

In this role you will be responsible for defining and enabling delivery of business intelligence solutions to support Lindt insight and effective reporting processes from the new analytics platform. This involves working very closely with key business partners from different functions to:

  • To develop and manage front end visualisations which meet business requirements
  • Interpret business requirements and transform these into front end business solutions which will achieve the overall requirement
  • Work closely with the BI developers to ensure the back-end solution meets the needs for front end solution deliverable
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the front-end visualisations built are fit for purpose and meet the business requirements
  • Support the front-end visualisations ensuring any incidents raised are managed and resolved in a timely manner
  • Assess, advise, define, and improve reporting processes across the business intelligence application suite, including:
    • Current Business Intelligence platform (cognos)
    • Proposed future BI platform (SAP Analytics Cloud, Datasphere)
    • Financial Planning and business consolidation tools (TM1 planning analytics, SAP SAC)
    • Insight and external data solutions (Circana, EPOS) used within the business

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding business analytics needs through constant collaboration and strong relationships with the business and external stakeholders: Gathering and analysing business analytics requirements and KPIs, proposing analytics solutions, translating them into functional and business specifications, with careful consideration of the transition to the future IT landscape.
  • Assessing current analytics landscape, data collection processes and reporting, assessing quality of information stored. Review and assess legacy Cognos reporting, metrics and data sources, catalogue ahead of planned transition to new BI platform.
  • Define and agree future state reporting & analytics, challenging our stakeholders to enhance Lindt reporting as we transition to new BI platform and S4/Hana. Identifying anomalous data and examining and eliminating any processes or procedures that contribute to unreliable data being collected. Working with key business stakeholders to enhance reporting to drive improved insight and/or more effective reporting.
  • Manage the delivery and testing of BI & reporting solutions to Time, Quality and Cost. Managing internal and/or external resources when required to assure quality delivery of reporting solutions and testing of solutions to agreed requirements.
  • Educating users to enable best in class reporting: Leading the superuser groups to ensure users are trained in using the different analytics tools.
  • Ensure effective and timely IT support: Ensuring 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support to the user community within SLAs agreed, either directly or through the super users / International IT or vendor/third party support helpdesks.


What experience you’ll bring

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of business reporting and insight technologies. Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud would be an advantage
  • In-depth knowledge of business intelligence processes and data visualization techniques within the consumer goods industry. With experience of leading business analytics projects
  • Strong understanding of business planning processes relevant to the FMCG industry
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels (end users, IT peers, senior management)
  • Understanding of ERP processes and system landscape
  • Project management with strong organizational, prioritization and planning skills
  • Drive for results, ensuring that tasks are completed within agreed timescales and to a high quality standard
  • Good team player, self-motivated and flexible with a high level of personal initiative.
  • Highly customer orientated
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and to demanding deadlines whilst ensuring high quality standards
  • Problem solving ability, able to take direction based on given job duties and responsibilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure with business critical system issues
