This role is ideal for a proactive individual who has previous experience working a property management function to
oversea the daily operations of our client's leasehold estate whilst providing advice to the business on property transactions.
Our client has an estate of approximately 250 leasehold properties and 250 subtenants.

Description
As the Estates Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Oversea the daily operations of the leasehold estate
- Provide advice to the business on property transactions
- Work with finance to advise on payments, reviewing the property management system and up to date correspondence to ensure they pay and receive the correct monies as documented in the legal documents and any rent reviews
- Work alongside the commercial team to maintain a positive, productive relationship with Landlords and Tenants
- The person must be able to read leases and interpret the provisions to work with the commercial team and advise on lease covenants
- Work with the tech services and health and safety team to manage any risks within the estate.
Profile
The successful candidate will be hold/and be able to demonstrate:
- Must have a Real Estate Qualification/Certificate and/or carried out a Property Course (such as a degree or equivalent)
- RICs Associate preferred but not required.
- At least 4 years working as a property/estate manage managing a Commercial Property portfolio.
- Good working landlord and tenant knowledge and understanding of property law and key lease terms and their implications on property management.
- A good working knowledge of how the maintenance of a leasehold estate works and be able to assist the business with service charge elements.
