The role
Waste and Cleaning currently have 1 full time vacancy for an estate cleaning Team leader, based in the North East of the Borough, this role entails cleaning and the day to day monitoring of the Cleaning duties we are contracted to undertake.
The successful candidates will be responsible for a team of up to 20 cleaning staff, ensuring they have all of the correct equipment to carry out their daily tasks, arrange cover for staff absence, ensure works are completed to our current contractual standards and deputise for the Area supervisor if and when required. They will need to be able to use a smart phone, open and answer emails as well as the use of apps that work beside the cleaning section.

About You
You will have years’ experience within a cleaning environment and a current clean driving licence is essential for this post, a willingness to undertake additional duties if required, after any relevant training and the ability to be able to adapt to situations quickly and report back to the Area cleaning Supervisor
