Job description
We are seeking a Health & Safety Administrator to join our Estates Office to work 18.5 hours per week across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
You will provide high-level administrative support to the Health and Safety Manager to ensure an efficient and coordinated service is provided. The role will involve general administration in relation to Health & Safety systems and databases, including, but not limited to, processing and organising accident records, reviewing assessments, responding to general H&S queries, organising and minuting meetings, setting up training on site and supporting administration involved in the Health and Safety budget.
With experience of working in an office environment, you will possess a good general education and experience of providing administrative support. You will have recent experience of using Microsoft Office packages, in particular Word, Outlook and Excel and have excellent customer service and effective communication skills. It is essential you have the ability to follow instructions and provide support as required to the H&S Manager.
For the next stage in the process, you will be required to attend the College’s premises, unless exceptional circumstances apply.
