What you will be doing as the Health & Safety Coordinator:
- Working collaboratively with all management and staff within the business to improve Health and Safety onsite.
- Implement new initiatives and ideas
- Carrying out all required training with staff.
- Responsible for 3 site locations.
- Working with managers on any areas of non-compliance.
- Updating and maintaining the H&S system.
- Translating technical language in a way that staff can understand.
- Reporting.
- Conducting audits.
- Investigating accidents.
Person Specification
- You will have a minimum of 2 years H&S experience.
- You MUST have a NEBOSH qualification.
- You will be personable, confident and have the ability to speak to and deal with people from all walks of life.
- You will be happy to offer ideas and initiatives to improve the H&S function.
You must be happy to travel occasionally.
