Our client are a well-established regional contractor possessing a wealth of expertise and experience in successfully executing a wide array of projects, encompassing new builds, refurbishments, and fit-outs across various sectors including education, health, housing, commercial, and retail.They are now recruiting for an Estimating Manager to join their business.
Duties and responsibilities to include:
* Management of commercial responsibilities during pre-construction,
* Management of cost planning and estimating projects
* The management of the procurement process in the appointment of a main contractor,
* Lead negotiations with main contractors on commercial and legal matters,
* Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful procurement of each project,
* Provide leadership and problem solving to complicated and challenging projects,
* Carry out any other reasonable tasks which may be required from time to time so that the company can remain adaptable to changing markets and needs,
