About the Role:
My client strives to be the contractor of choice for prestigious clients and the workplace of choice for exceptional individuals. Currently, we're seeking Quantity Surveyors for positions based in Ireland (Dublin & Kildare). Quantity Surveyors in this role will oversee all aspects of surveying and commercial functions across various projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update contract budgets
- Manage contractual and legal aspects of projects
- Collaborate closely with the Surveying Manager
- Maintain accurate contract records
- Generate monthly JCR’s and JCS’s
- Participate in contractor handover meetings
- Attend bi-weekly contract review meetings
- Update cash reporting and collection procedures
- Identify risks and develop risk management plans
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, supply chain partners, and the professional team
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in construction methods and technologies
- Expertise in measurement and valuation
- Ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders
- Understanding of subcontract/material orders and procurement processes
- Competency in preparing and interpreting commercial reports
- Familiarity with various contract types, including bespoke and standard forms
- Knowledge of health and safety standards, quality procedures, and the construction industry landscape
