A great opportunity has arisen within a very successful company in Medway Towns for an Estimator to join their friendly team.
Working in the Sales and Customer Service department, you will be responsible for providing accurate costs and quotations for new and existing customers.
Your main duties will include:
- Updating the In-house System with enquiries
- Processing all new enquires for the Estimating team (Updating the job register and setting up files)
- Processing all new orders on Opera and updating figures on the order book, job Register and sales figures spreadsheet
- Cross referencing customer POs against cost sheets
- Updating order book/sales current month/opera with cancellations figures
- Preparing estimates and quotations from specifications and drawings
- Providing estimates and quotations for area sales managers and internal sales offices
- Dealing with sales enquiries
- Keeping up to date with products and competitors
The successful candidate will be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. You will be computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office applications.
In addition to this you will be highly numerate, well organised, a team player, numerate and literate and confident in dealing with customers and colleagues in various situations
Ideally you will have previous experience of working with Opera/Salesforce, however training will be provided.
Previous experience of working in a similar role is advantageous and a minimum of 2 years working in an administration role is preferred.
You will be working 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday and the company offers excellent benefits and remuneration package.
