Estimator - Fire Protection/Sprinklers

Job Title: Estimator (Fire Protection and Sprinkler Systems)

Location: Maidstone (Kent) and Manchester (Greater Manchester)

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 (basic) + Commission + Company Car

Responsibilities:

• Tender Estimation: Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for fire protection and sprinkler system projects, including commercial and residential installations.
• Cost Analysis: Evaluate project requirements, materials, labor, and other factors to determine project costs.
• Bid Management: Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to develop winning bids and proposals.
• Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, answer queries, and provide cost breakdowns.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in estimating fire protection and sprinkler systems.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with fire suppression systems, sprinkler design, and relevant regulations.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other technical documents.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Driving License: A valid driving license is required for travel between Maidstone and Manchester.
